The University of Denver maintains a site license with Esri, and we use their products and solutions in many GIS classes. Consult with your instructor about your particular software needs.
Your 'User Type' will be set as "Professional Plus" and your 'Role' as "Publisher." Learn more about ArcGIS Online and access here. To request membership in the ArcGIS Online organization and to be authorized to use ArcGIS Pro, contact your instructor. You must be affiliated with DU as your ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online login will use your DU email credentials.
When you are logged into ArcGIS Online, click on your name in the upper right. Click on 'My Settings'. Then click on 'Licenses' and you will see a 'Download' option to the right of ArcGIS Pro. To use the software you must be "authorized" to do so. To be authorized, you must be a member of the DU ArcGIS Online Enterprise Organization, detailed in the Access ArcGIS Online list item.
Our Labs provide access to Imagine & ENVI image processing software.
Printing
A DU public printer is available in our building, Boettcher Center West, at the north end of the first floor.
Large-Format Plotting
We have an HP DesignJet Z6 large-format plotter available for printing large maps and posters. GIS lab computers are capable of sending plot files to this device.
