Graduate Students

As key members of the DU Natural Sciences and Mathematics research community, graduate students reap the benefits inherent to being an active investigator. Academic work is significantly strengthened as hands-on research expands understanding in any field.

Students in research-heavy degree programs receive full tuition and a nine-month stipend, working as either a graduate teaching assistant (GTA) or graduate research assistant (GRA). Whether teaching instructional labs or working on high-profile projects led by key faculty, all graduate students are paired with a faculty advisor to maximize their opportunity for success.
