The College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics is made up of five departments, led by the dean and associate dean to ensure strategic alignment between internal efforts and across campus. We are a team working to ensure the best experience for our students, faculty, and staff.
Dean
Dr. Andrei Kutateladze
Andrei Kutateladze is a John Evans Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. He joined the University of Denver faculty in 1995 and was elected Dean of the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in 2012.
Associate Dean
Dr. Nic Ormes
Nic Ormes is a professor in the Department of Mathematics. As Associate Dean since 2019, he is responsible for curriculum, student affairs, inclusive excellence, mentoring programs and STEM activities in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
