A STEM summer camp leads to discoveries in urban backyards, Ecology and Evolution
Previous campers contributed to and co-authored a publication on the impact of streetlights on invasive grass species!
Students who have completed grades 5, 6, 7 or 8 are welcome to apply. There is very limited space available.
Please note, this camp is designed to provide access to the sciences for youth who would otherwise not have that privilege due to financial constraints.
For that reason, the camp will be FREE for those whose families can demonstrate financial need.
Denver Public Schools
Working with DPS, we are able to recruit and support local students as they embark on DU SciTech Summer Camp.
This program is made possible thanks in part to a Bridge Grant from DU's Center for Community Engagement to advance Scholarship and Learning.
Denver Museum of Nature and Science
Thank you to our partners at DMNS for hosting DU SciTech campers at the museum for a day.
