Opportunities and Funding
Our department strives to support our student researchers throughout their work. In addition to funding, we're able to help our students find research positions that can best complement their goals.
We also bolster departmental research efforts through institutional partnerships with locally-based, nationally respected laboratories and organizations like the National Renewable Energy Lab, the National Institute for Standards and Technology and the National Center for Atmospheric Research.
Funding
Office of Research & Sponsored Programs
Our Office of Research & Sponsored Programs will assist you throughout the process of applying for research funding from federal, non-federal and internal sources.
Office of Graduate Education
We offer several centrally-funded awards through the Office of Graduate Education.
Grants & Assistantships
Graduate Student Professional Development Grants provide financial support for conference presentations, exhibitions and performances, thesis and dissertation-related expenses and travel fares.
