Ecology, Biodiversity & Evolutionary Biology

The ecological and evolutionary biologist research community is a close-knit group of faculty, postdocs and students studying rapid evolution, conservation genetics, invasive species ecology, molecular evolution, behavioral ecology and forest ecology.

Denver is a prime location for field research with vastly varying landscapes easily accessible from campus. Our Mount Evans alpine research station provides a high-altitude base only an hour from campus.
