International Exercise & Breathing Conference 2023
Hosted by the University of Denver and National Jewish Health, the fifth international EILO/ILO conference will be held June 5-6, 2023. The conference will be held at the University of Denver.
Conference Vision
The conference will provide a forum for global partnership formation and knowledge sharing related to the basic science, diagnosis, and treatment of exercise-induced laryngeal obstruction (EILO). To facilitate interactions between audience groups with related interests, the 2023 conference will also focus on inducible laryngeal obstruction (ILO) and the use of exercise physiology in the management of patients with breathing problems.
Objectives
- Share scientific knowledge and hands-on skills related to the science, diagnosis, and treatment of EILO.
- Explore, through lectures and practical sessions, approaches to better understand and care for patients affected by ILO outside of exercise.
- Utilize exercise physiology measurements and interventions to better care for patients with breathing challenges in exercise.
